‘When you are busy playing with your mobile phone, remember the people beside you. ‘

Thai TV commercial are always creative and inspiring, speak to people in an effective way and create resonance. Thailand’s DTAC telecommunications company released this advertisement telling us to cherish people beside us. This is a brave move because this will perhaps make their sales drop, however they show corporate social responsibility.

I posted this because the topic is much similar to my topic in thesis project, i love their idea of ‘disconnect to connect’. Whereas mine is ‘Consuming too much fibre, no constipation.’ , it is about over consumption of digital information, ‘constipation’ as a hidden meaning of ‘stop and stuck’. I wish to use a whimsical way to tell a serious topic. This thai tv commercial also makes me think how can i apply this ‘fibre’ idea in the future advertising world.
